Scorpion Attenuators Keep You Safe in a Crush

A Scorpion Towable Attenuator (TA) gives full width protection to the back of the host vehicle and protects the "coffin corners" off the sides of your truck. It’s a mobile crash cushion designed with a tongue and axle/wheel that connects directly to the support vehicle's pintle hook from a lunette ring on the attenuator. It requires little or no modification to the host vehicle or additional mounting hardware, making for a single point of attachment for quick and easy installation.

The Scorpion's proven modular design crushes in progressive stages, allowing quick and economical replacement of damaged parts. Rear axle placement improves the attenuator’s stability and prevents its tail from bottoming out on driveways or uneven surfaces.

All Scorpion Towable Attenuators come with an integrated electric brake system that’s automatically activated in the event of separation or hitch failure. They’re NCHRP 350 tested and approved for all mandatory and optional offset and angled impacts. And they come in two lengths (13’ and `7’10”) to protect trucks of all sizes.

Optional electronic Arrow and Message Boards can easily be attached to all models of the Scorpion Towable Attenuator.
